Browse Mopar Air Filters
To start your search, we need to know what car you need an air filter for; enter the details into the top-left "Refine Results" tool. The car air filters you see will be filtered to show items that will fit your vehicle.
From there, you'll see auto air filters, along with corresponding housings and air cleaner assemblies, and also – depending on the vehicle – some cold-air intake kits and filters for a performance boost.
There are two types of car air filters: engine and cabin filters. Engine air and cabin air filters for cars are fundamentally the same, but they are designed for different roles. As their names suggest, the cabin filter cleans outside air before it's blown into the interior (and onto you) via the air ducts. This process has a notable impact on your comfort. The engine air filter also cleans air, but it does this for the air that'll be ingested by the engine for use in combustion.
The designs of each will be different enough that you can not swap one for the other. Fortunately, car cabin and auto engine air filters are often labeled with their respective purpose; if not, check the description and vehicle fitment chart to see whether the filter only fits a specific engine (or engine family). In the case that it only applies to one engine, it is likely an engine air filter. Meanwhile, if it fits various engines, but only one model of car, it is likely a cabin air filter.
To ensure that you've chosen the correct cabin or engine air filters for cars you're working on, you can always reach out to our team. We can assist you with your parts search, whether it involves replacing air intake systems or rebuilding an engine.
Car Air Filters and More
Our selection of car air filters includes more than just the filters themselves. You can find OEM cabin and engine air filters, but we also list supporting components alongside them, including seals, fasteners, housings, hoses, gaskets, and sensors.
Of special note, if applicable to the vehicle's engine, a Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor will usually be installed in a convenient location: on the outside of the air intake piping directly after the air filter. We offer these sensors as well and recommend ordering them together with the car air filters to give your engine a relatively easy tune-up,1 provided that the MAF sensor has seen as much use as the dirty engine air filter you're replacing.
If your car uses a Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor to determine air flow, then this will not apply, as the sensor will be located much deeper in the system.
For any questions surrounding car air filters and related intake systems, the Mopar OEM team is standing by. Reach out today to get help, and enjoy fast shipping on your order.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I replace my air filter?
You should replace your vehicle's air filter once every 10,000 to 15,000 miles, which typically occurs once annually. Doing this will create a cleaner cabin environment and reduce pollutants in your car's air circulation. We recommend entrusting the care of your air filter replacement to our specialists to get professional service and the ideal fit of an OEM component.
What happens if I don't replace my air filter?
If you don't replace your cabin air filter, the air in your vehicle's cabin may become contaminated with particles stuck in the filter. Additionally, the filter will get clogged with debris, dirt, pollen, and other pollutants. Some issues that drivers with an old air filter can experience include difficulty keeping windows clean and a lot of dirt or dust in the air.
Are all air filters the same size?
No, not all air filters are the same size. The car's engineering has an impact on the size and shape of the air filter meant for your vehicle. However, most cabin air filters are rectangular. We recommend exploring our online parts inventory to find the ideal match for your next cabin air filter replacement. Should you have questions, contact our specialists over the phone or online.
